Net Entertainment were founded in 1996 by Cherry Group, one of Scandinavia’s leading off-line casino operators. They have traded on the Nasdaq OMX Stockholm exchange since 13th January 2009.

Net Entertainment is a supplier of gaming software for online gaming operators. They claim that their software is programmed to pay out 95% of the amount wagered on their games. Some of their customers are amongst the most elite, reputable and most successful gambling operators, however they also provided software to the disreputable gambling provider Stryyke. Net Entertainment do not have any conflicting interests with the gambling providers who they supply their gaming software to as they do not operate any gaming sites of their own, so therefore they are not in competition with their customers. Net Entertainment’s interests lie solely with proving quality gaming products to gambling providers.

In June 2007 Net Entertainment signed an agreement to supply its casino products to eight different sites including BestGames, Betaland, Betsafe and Goldbet. These casino products were licensed in Malta and available in 21 different languages. In 2008 Bet-At-Home and Victor Chandler also signed up to Net Entertainment’s software and in 2010 Interwetten and Stan James both singed up with Net Entertainment as well. Also in 2010 Net Entertainments were granted a licence from Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC). In 2011 Net Entertaining launched a portfolio of games for mobile phones.
