UK Betting

UKbetting plc operated between 2001 and October 2006. They were listed on the London Stock Exchange under symbol UKB. UKbetting had a good relationship with CryptoLogic Inc. whose subsidiary was WagerLogic Limited. WagerLogic had provided them with their poker and casino software. UKbetting betting had been a customer of WagerLogic since 2003.

The growth of UKbettinlg plc came from a cocktail of acquisitions. These acquisitions included PA Sporting Life Ltd, TEAMtalk Media Group plc and Rivals Digital Media Ltd. In April 2004, UKbetting acquired GoldBet SportWetten GmbH (“GoldBet”) in a deal worth up to €4.5 million. GoldWin were also part of GoldBet. Sportinglife had worked in partnership with the Tote to launch TotalBet in 1999. In 2003 the Tote branched off to launch ToteSport and Sportinglife continued to operate TotalBet alone.

UKbetting later became known as 365mediagroup. In January 2007, 365 Media Group were themselves the subject of an acquisition and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of BSkyB. Consequently ukbetting and Totalbet were integrated into the SkyBet brand. 365 Media Group continue to operate as a subsidiary of BskyB on website www.sport365.com
